You have a wonderful ministry with Come To The Fire. Please keep it up. As I have re-entered pastoral ministry after 25 years in other areas of ministry, it is wonderful to have such strong prayer support in my wife. At Come to the Fire I experienced a continual flow of blessings. What a marvelous team of speakers, laywomen, vocalists and musicians who brought rich scriptural messages. I am deeply refreshed. I believe the Lord is filling us to follow Him in specific avenues of ministry and outreach wherever we are. He is sending us forth.

I see the knowledge and wisdom and love for the Lord in you all. I feel I was healed last year from a great hurt and much bitterness. I find myself able to forgive and love once more, and God is enabling me to minister once again. I know healing comes from God alone, but I also know He used the Come to the Fire team to soften my heart so that He could work in my life.

I have lived with almost constant joint pain for 6 years. The doctors say I have arthritis in my back, my shoulders, wrists, and hands.
On Friday, Carolyn led us through a healing service. It was a simple thing, really, but we had been prepared and prayed for and the Holy Spirit was present and at work. Forgiveness really was the key for me. I felt a burden lifting when I let go of some hurts from my childhood, but I was suddenly overwhelmed when Carolyn mentioned forgiving myself. I never thought that I might be harboring unforgiveness toward myself! I went forward to be anointed and spent time at the alter releasing my inner pain. When I stood up, it was gone—and it hasn’t returned!
Both years I attended Come to the Fire and have walked away in wonder at the power of the Holy Spirit.

When I opened my little gift verse box, inside was Philippians 1:6, “I am confident that He who has begun a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
The scripture was exactly the right one for me. I had been battling with not forgiving myself for things in my past, which caused uncertainty about my spiritual state and caused me to fear that God would give up on me. The verse assured me that He is indeed faithful. God is healing my heart.

I want to thank you for the work and prayer that went into Come to the Fire 2007. I was blessed to bring two female pastors from Westside Church of the Nazarene and three other women from our congregation. Let me just say the fire ignited, and for next year we are planning on chartering a bus for more women to attend.

It was all that I have wished for.The flowing of the Spirit of God without interruptions is what my heart has longed for. I appreciated the emphasis on prayer and the testimonies are so what's needed in our Christian community.
The messages were powerful and from God to me. I am so thankful for the way you seek God’s leading. Five ladies from our church went with me, hoping that we can be contagious and influence our church in these directions. Thanks for being God's obedient servant in bringing this about with God’s help.

When we sang at the conference, my heart was filled with God’s love and I could feel His presence!! It was just so different. It was a time when I could throw all my burdens away! I could see the worship team’s joy and love for Christ! It was amazing! This was my second year to Come to the Fire conference, and I will definitely go every year. The testimonies helped and encouraged me a lot!!! When I go back to Malaysia next year, I will bring the messages I learned from this conference to my mother, sister and brother!!! I hope they become saved one day!!! The third thing that I liked about this conference is that I felt welcome!!!! I am a college student so I wore casual clothes. Suddenly, a voice from my inner most self started to talk to me. The voice said, "girl, go home! This conference is not for you and you have no part in it!!! You are alone, but look at the others, they go in pairs!! Look at how you dress … jeans, simple t-shirt, and a sweater?! Look at how others dress up! They wear make-up and a coat!" I knew that was an attack from the evil one. I denounced it and entered the main hall. Praise the Lord, He listened to my prayer!! I was warmly welcomed by a nice lady and throughout the conference God brought me lots of friends!!!! I met a group of Christian friends from Dallas and another from a small town 30 miles from Kansas City. I even committed to join the prayer team of the Dallas group, so we are going to send prayer request through email!

It was very refreshing to attend a women's conference that proclaimed the message of holiness and helped me apply it to my life as a woman. There is such hope in this message. While other conferences may be helpful, they don't leave one with the same confidence in God's ability to change and make us complete in His image.

My friend Meg and I carpool to work and we had been discouraged about many facets of our lives. One morning I mentioned that we needed to be revived. When we got to work, she immediately went on a search and found information about the Come to the Fire Conference. We registered and were able to schedule the day off from work.
I am so thankful for God's faithfulness and His presence working in our lives. The music, the speakers, and the messages blessed us. God used the entire conference to love on us and lift us up. Thank you so much for providing this outlet for God to minister to so many others and us. Praise God for His goodness.

Just a note to let you know how much I enjoyed the Come to The Fire conference. Every one of the speakers spoke to my heart in one way or another. The praise team was great and I am still humming the theme song.
I so appreciate that you offered this conference at no charge. Although I could have paid for my way to come, this allowed me to give an offering. I feel that so many conferences are beyond a lot of women’s reach cost-wise and so they just don't come. I pray that the expenses were covered above what was necessary.
I hope this is the beginning of more Come to the Fire conferences. Holiness living, sanctification, living lives set apart from the world, and dying to self are not preached much anymore. Conviction on our hearts is not something we want to deal with. We are much happier with the warm fuzzes we hear but find that over time we leave feeling empty and lost again. I left the conference determined in my heart to once again let Jesus reign in my life. He is enough. When people bump into me I want Jesus to be spilled out and poured over them.
Thank you again for the vision that you saw through to completion. It blessed many lives.
