God's Definition of Wonderful

I heard a mother tell that she had asked God to heal her daughter who had been seriously injured in an accident.

"God, wouldn't it be wonderful if the doctor could see how wonderful You are by healing her?"

God replied, "Wouldn't it be wonderful if the doctor could see how wonderful I am by what I do in you?"

The abiding Holy Spirit wants to do much more than give us comfort, guidance, and even healing. He wants to reveal himself through us. His indwelling is not only for our enjoyment but also for those close to us.

God receives glory when we say, "For this I have Jesus, and He is all I need."

Thank You, Jesus, for revealing Your Spirit through my spirit when I recognize that You are all I need.

"I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Sovereign LORD, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes" (Ezekiel 36:23).

"He said to me, 'You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will display my splendor'" (Isaiah 49:3).

"They are...the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor" (Isaiah 60:21).
