What Is Worse Than a Pay Cut?

One week Karen Mains came home disappointed. She had gladly spoken without receiving an honorarium for a friend who is the chaplain at a retirement center. "Oh, we'll set up a book table," her friend said thinking to compensate her in some way. So Karen hauled books for the book table. She enjoyed the women, had a great conversation, and sold four books--a total of $70.

I want to demonstrate my love for You by caring for wisdom when it comes." Peter Chose Grandpa  

One Sunday when our grandson Peter was a toddler, we spent a weekend with our daughter and husband. When we walked into the nursery after church to retrieve Peter, Peter looked at his mother, then at me, then his grandpa. He headed right into Grandpa's arms. Grandpa loved it.
